Objective: 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course will enable the students to-

  1. 1.Learn how to apply basic principles of relief printmaking.
  2. Summarize step by step approach to building up a tone and color in black and white, monochrome and colored mediums.
  3. Learn about drawing concepts such as negative and positive space in a composition.
  4. Understanding of various textures require for the preparation of matrix.

The students will -

CO5: Develop visual literacy and observation. 

CO6: Explore and perceive printing skills for Printmaking.

CO7: Understand how to use negative and positive space to balance the composition.

CO8: Able to construct various matrix for better printing.

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Tutorials, Reading assignments, Demonstration.

Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks.

 

Semester end examinations, Continuous Assessment Test, Sketching, layouts, Solving problems in tutorials, Assignments, Presentation, Individual and group projects, regular ,display and submission of artworks.
